Employee Rights Continue to Expand: A Current and Future View

In the current climate, employee rights continue to expand. We can expect more in the near future given the current political climate. We will discuss the following trends:

• Most recent federal court decision limiting an employer's right to access text messages
• Supreme Court's decision expanding race retaliation claims
• Legal limitations employers face in trying to assist employees well-being
• Anticipated Employee Free Choice Act and significant concerns it will cause employers
