With more than 20 years of complex business litigation experience, Kathryn helps clients resolve various business and commercial disputes nationwide in state and federal courts, as well as private arbitrations and mediations. She represents clients in bet-the-company litigation with significant financial and reputational risks, ranging from precedent-setting opioid litigation to high-stakes securities class actions.
Providing time-sensitive, coordinated and practical advice, Kathryn leads clients through all aspects of the cybersecurity life cycle. She guides clients in responding to complex cybersecurity incidents and navigating related litigation, investigations and regulatory matters. Kathryn and our 24/7 incident response team have recently advised clients in the healthcare, financial services, life sciences and manufacturing industries, among others, in high-stakes incidents.

Kathryn’s practice involves:
- Business Disputes – Representing clients in various commercial disputes such as breach of contract, fraud, consumer protection, intellectual property and technology, securities and shareholder, and trade secrets and non-compete matters.
- Data Privacy & Security – Advising clients in responding to data incidents, including conducting internal investigations to determine whether a breach has occurred, the scope and causation of any breach or unauthorized disclosure, fulfilling federal and state breach notification requirements, and responding to regulatory enforcement inquiries and actions.
- Internal Investigations – Conducting internal investigations on behalf of public and private companies involving potential corporate compliance matters, such as healthcare fraud violations and corporate wrongdoing.
- Compliance & Government Investigations– Representing clients in civil investigations, including developing and implementing compliance policies and programs, and complex international investigations.
Before attending law school, Kathryn was an art historian and curator specializing in Contemporary American Art and 19th Century British Art.
