On July 10, the Nashville Business Journal announced its annual Best of the Bar list recognizing the top attorneys in Middle Tennessee. This year, 100 attorneys were recognized, including seven attorneys from Bass, Berry & Sims. The following individuals from the firm were honored with inclusion on the 2023 list:

- Paige Mills
- Brant Phillips
- Todd Rolapp
- Mike Sontag
- Mike Stewart
- Jessie Zeigler
To determine the 2023 honorees, the Nashville Business Journal first accepted nominations from the public. Nominees then participated in a round of closed voting, with weight being given to votes from outside their firm or company. The top-scoring names are this year’s Best of the Bar winners.
