Successful Defense Against DEA Investigation for Regional Addiction Treatment Organization

We represented a large regional drug and alcohol addiction treatment organization in the Southeast in responding to a DEA investigation of the company’s relationship with an independent but collocated pharmacy coordinator and pharmaceutical delivery service. We represented two of the client’s physicians in interviews with DEA Diversion Investigators. After extensive discussions with the Investigators about the nature of the relationship with the collocated pharmacy coordinator, DEA took no action against the client.
