On behalf of American Petroleum Institute, we drafted legislation and led the coalitional lobbying effort to ensure industrial energy infrastructure could not be banned by local governments, leaving those policy decisions to the state. This gave a variety of industries a greater degree of predictability and uniformity when planning and executing statewide business plans.
