Bass, Berry & Sims attorney Tim Garrett provided insight for an article in Professional Remodeler on how the Department of Labor’s (DOL) new overtime regulations will impact exempt and nonexempt employees in the construction industry. As Tim points out in the article, “‘[e]mployers face a choice. The other is to reclassify the employee as nonexempt and eligible for overtime.'”
