According to the report, the law is overreaching and complex and does not address the shift to value-based payment models favored over fee-for-service models. Danielle “called the report a good sign that the Senate Finance Committee is acknowledging the healthcare industry’s frustration with Stark.” She cautioned “that it still doesn’t give much insight into what the committee might actually do about it.”
