Bass, Berry & Sims member Alé Dalton will be participating in a virtual roundtable “Seats at the Table: Shaping AHLA’s Leadership,” hosted by AHLA’s Women’s Leadership Council on September 2 from 10:00-11:00 a.m. CT.
Moderated by Barri Dean, the candid discussion will feature women who currently serve on AHLA’s Board of Directors, including Alé Dalton of Bass, Berry & Sims, Carol Carden of PYA, Emily Grey of Breazeale Sachse & Wilson LLP, and Annie Shieh of Optum Health. The speakers will share their personal “origin stories,” the mentors and experiences that shaped their paths to governance leadership, and the turning points that led them to board service.
The conversation also will explore the unique perspectives women bring to governance, challenges they have navigated along the way, and the legacy they hope to leave for the next generation of women leaders. Attendees will gain practical insight and concrete next steps for becoming more involved in AHLA and pursuing future leadership opportunities.
