CON Modification Approved for Lifepoint’s Sumner Physician Practices

Bass, Berry & Sims served as lead counsel to Lifepoint’s Summer Physician Practices (SPP) in modifying its existing Certificate of Need (CON) to remove a condition limiting SPP to providing MRI services to its orthopedic patients. The project, which was unanimously approved by state regulators, enabled SPP to serve all SPP patients in the six-county service area.  Bass, Berry & Sims previously represented SPP in obtaining its original MRI CON.
