Merger of Delos Insurance Company with Southwest Insurance Partners

We represented Delos Insurance Company, a New York-based specialty insurance company, in its merger with Southwest Insurance Partners, Inc. (SWIP). Delos was formed by a private equity consortium led by Lightyear Capital. The combined group has more than $1 billion in total assets, more than $625 million in investment assets and more than $250 million in shareholders’ equity. The combined company has been renamed Houston International Insurance Group (HIIG) and is based in Houston, Texas. Lightyear Capital continues its ownership interest in HIIG.
