Sheridan Acquires Resolute Anesthesia and Pain Solutions and South Lake Anesthesia Services

We represented Sheridan, AmSurg’s Physician Services division (NASDAQ: AMSG), in its acquisition of Resolute Anesthesia and Pain Solutions and South Lake Anesthesia Services, which expands Sheridan’s anesthesiology services in three states, Florida, New Jersey and Missouri, and marks its initial entry in Illinois.

Resolute Anesthesia and Pain Solutions is one of the largest ambulatory-based anesthesiology practices in the country, and delivers anesthesia and pain management services through a network of over 30 facilities in four states consisting of 20 ambulatory surgery centers, three hospitals, and nine pain management clinics.

South Lake Anesthesia Services supports both inpatient and outpatient procedures as the exclusive provider of anesthesia services at South Lake Hospital, South Lake Hospital Outpatient Surgery Center, and South Lake Endoscopy Center in Clermont, Florida, all in affiliation with the Orlando Health System.

AmSurg’s Physician Services Division, Sheridan, provides outsourced physician services in multiple specialties to hospitals, ASCs and other healthcare facilities throughout the U.S., primarily in the areas of anesthesiology, children’s services, emergency medicine and radiology.
