NMC-backed Western Dental Acquires Guardian’s DSO

We represented Western Dental Services, a portfolio company of New Mountain Capital, in its acquisition of Guardian Life Insurance Company’s Dental Service Organization. Guardian’s DSO business adds more than 60 offices throughout the Western U.S. to Western Dental’s portfolio and marks their entrance into Alabama. Terms of the transaction were not publicly disclosed.

Western Dental (with its affiliates, including Brident Dental & Orthodontics) is a national leader in accessible, high quality, affordable oral healthcare with approximately 2.5 million patient visits annually in 249 affiliated offices throughout California, Texas, Arizona and Nevada.
