Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys Krista Cooper and Elaina Al-Nimri will participate in the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) in various capacities starting in 2025. Krista has been appointed to serve as the LCLD City Lead for Nashville; Elaina has been selected to participate in the LCLD 2025 Fellows Program.

Elaina Al-Nimri
Elaina will participate in the year-long LCLD 2025 Fellows Program, designed to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. The Fellows Program targets mid-career attorneys and helps participants develop leadership skills, build professional relationships and networks, and form a successful career-development strategy. Elaina counsels clients on complex business litigation across a diverse range of areas including environmental, construction, real estate, securities and shareholder disputes, and commercial disputes. She has successfully litigated and resolved matters in a variety of industries including construction, energy, healthcare, manufacturing, education, hospitality, and financial services. Krista Cooper
In her role as the LCLD City Lead for Nashville, Krista will work with the LCLD Regional Leads and Program Development Chair and Vice Chair, to plan and execute programs for local LCLD alumni and to set written goals, expectations, and timelines for the year. Krista is a 2024 LCLD Fellows graduate.
Krista is a member at Bass, Berry & Sims and advises healthcare providers on the transactional, regulatory, and operational aspects of their business. She employs her transactional and regulatory experience to advise private equity funds and their portfolio companies on acquisitions and helps a broad range of healthcare clients navigate the complex regulatory landscape, including identifying the impact of joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and other transactions on their business objectives and strategic goals.
