In June 2024, the Nashville Business Journal released its annual list of Best of the Bar winners, recognizing Middle Tennessee’s leading attorneys. This year, nearly 80 attorneys were recognized, including five from Bass, Berry & Sims.
The five Bass, Berry & Sims attorneys honored in 2024 include:

- Paul Jennings
- Brant Phillips
- Mike Sontag
- Jeff Yarbro
To determine the honorees, the Nashville Business Journal first accepted nominations from the public. Nominees then participated in a round of closed voting, with weight being given to votes from outside their firm or company.
