Jeremy Gunn is a member of the firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practice Group and Antitrust & Competition Practice Group. His practice focuses on complex litigation, government investigations, and antitrust matters, including merger clearance and compliance counseling.
Jeremy represents clients in antitrust matters before the U.S. Department of Justice, Federal Trade Commission, and state attorneys general. He also advises businesses on antitrust issues associated with joint ventures, non-compete agreements, competitive information exchanges, benchmarking, and pricing practices.
As a litigator, Jeremy serves as counsel to clients in complex commercial disputes, product liability litigation, and managed care matters. His national practice encompasses proceedings in state and federal courts as well as arbitrations.
Jeremy is active in the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section, where he co-chairs of the Diverse Perspectives & Engagement Committee. He previously served as vice chair of the section’s Healthcare and Pharmaceuticals Committee. Jeremy also maintains an active pro bono practice.
Before joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Jeremy practiced at a national law firm in Philadelphia. After earning his law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law, Jeremy served as a law clerk to then-Chief Judge John Preston Bailey of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia. He also served as a Janet D. Steiger Fellow with the West Virginia Attorney General’s Office.
