Paden Hemphill counsels clients on commercial real estate and debt finance transactions including:
- Representing developers, investors and owners in the acquisition, financing, disposition, and leasing of real property.
- Representing borrowers and lenders in financing transactions, including acquisition and construction loans, term loan facilities, asset-based secured financings and revolving credit facilities.
Paden also collaborates with the firm’s Corporate & Securities Practice Group on corporate transactions, such as mergers and acquisitions, for public and private companies, which involve financing and real estate issues.
Paden earned a law degree from the University of Memphis Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law with a Business Law Certificate and an undergraduate degree in humanities from Harding University. Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims Paden served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Bernice Donald of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
