Tatiyana Lewis represents clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters involving the development, transfer and licensing of technology and IP. She helps clients protect their IP assets, representing them in a variety of transactions, including advising on the IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions, licensing and service agreements, and strategic relationships. Tatiyana also advises clients on compliance with domestic and international privacy regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ever-evolving domestic privacy frameworks.
Prior to joining Bass, Berry & Sims, Tatiyana served as a prosecutorial extern with the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of Tennessee. Tatiyana earned a law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law and an undergraduate degree in legal communications from Howard University. During law school, she served as articles editor and staff editor of the Tennessee Law Review, law clerk for the University of Tennessee’s Office of General Counsel, director of the Knox Area Rescue Ministries (KARM) Homeless Clinic, and student attorney for the Domestic Violence Clinic.
