Emily Snyder represents clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters involving the development, transfer and licensing of technology and IP. She helps clients protect their IP assets, representing them in a variety of transactions, including advising on the IP aspects of mergers and acquisitions, licensing and service agreements, and strategic relationships. Emily also regularly advises clients on compliance with domestic and international privacy regulations, including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ever-evolving domestic privacy frameworks. She regularly drafts data privacy and security contract provisions and analyzes contracts to ensure compliance with local and international privacy laws.
Emily earned her law degree from William & Mary Law School and a B.A. in history from the Pennsylvania State University, Schreyer Honors College. During law school, Emily served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Joy Flowers Conti of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.
